So what this means is, the market it self will have realized this and the value of the company’s shares will have risen through the last two quarters if not more. The profits in the quarter will not be sudden. For example, Amazon.com might have a great quarter during Christmas, but your profits in their shares won’t be that great if you buy them just before Christmas since the market will have anticipated the rise and implemented it slowly earlier in the year. Sometimes though, stock prices can jump abruptly such as the time when Apple announced the release of their iPhone last year.
There is no doubt that the stock market has its own elements unpredictability and should you lose your money you could go down bad. Unlike real estate, which just sits and accumulates value over time, a stock market investment is a challenging and an exciting way to keep you active and a great way to build assets. It gives you a vast array of options in the way you want your financial security to grow.
