I enjoyed my primary days at Canossa School of Sta. Rosa where I first discovered my passion in writing. I was only in the 4th grade then. While my schoolmates are playing in our school yard during break times, I am enjoying the quietness inside the library which has served as my writing haven for years. Now, I am a professional in terms of writing.

We are recently being flooded by information from media about different kinds of makeovers. Celebrities and ordinary people are being swayed by the trend and fashion makeovers that virtually everything is on topsy-turvy. Seriously, makeover is important, lest we are only going to use it for reasons outside self improvement.
Start deep within ordinary things
By self improvement we mean that to perk up in order to get better. You don’t have to look further where to start, look inside your room—in your closet. Your closet is the macrocosm of your entire life; it represents your image and the way you present yourself to the world. It contains old clothes given to you by someone you love, expensive dress or coat by a famous designer, outdated shoes with wrong color, ties that don’t match, undersize or oversized shirts that bears witness to your fluctuating weight and so on.
Set aside one day to rummage to all the stuff in your closet, it may remind you of sad and happy memories associated with the clothes you have there, you will find it a bit frustrating and exhilarating at the same time as you tread the memory lane again for some old forgotten grudge or happy moments—but that’s entirely the idea, that’s the first step towards self improvement.
Look through the items that really don’t represent your image, clothes are your second skin your preference for it
reveals a lot of things about you. Sadly enough, the world judges a person by the way he/she wears a certain clothes. You have to dispose of clothes that don’t match your image, clothes that you think will remind you and the people around you of negative things that may have happen in the past. Suddenly you will notice a refreshing feeling of letting go, and that feeling is worth more than an Armani suit or a Victoria’s secret collection.
More than a wardrobe
While on your way of cleaning out your closet for some old clothes, you may also find in your self image closet a lot of old friends that need to be thrown away in the bin. By self improvement, you have to get rid of yourself some old souls around you that has already grown apart from your significance. People who are always skeptical on the good things that you do, who always throw negative comments on you, those who back stab you and then smile in front of you should be get rid of. Old injured memories should go with it, as leaving it away helps you go on self improving.
Your new set of wardrobe should resound the real you. Being truthful to yourself draws honesty from people around you, and by that self improvement is not just mere skin deep, your clothing preference reflects the real you inside and out.
