For everyone, some days are better than others are. On the bad days, we usually feel very bad about ourselves. Here are some tips that will help you to feel better about yourself no matter what kind of day you are having:

Trust yourself

You need to believe in your inner resources regardless of what happens. Doing so will allow you to grow from any experience instead of dwelling on the painful experiences. The answers to your problems usually lie within yourself; you just have to be smart enough to figure out what to do.

Even if you are having the worst day of your life, you should give yourself time and be patient.

Keep going

Do not let the changes that occur in life throw you off track. You need to remember that the problems you have right now are temporary. You will gain more clarity if you stay the course and channel your energy in a positive direction. Watch your thoughts

Your thoughts will never be 100 percent positive. Therefore, you should learn to dismiss the negative thoughts as soon as they appear and stick to ideas that will help you to move in a positive direction. Whenever you notice a negative thought, you should use your mind to quell it.

Summon your strength

You should learn to access your strengths and direct them to the highest good. Start believing that your intelligence and strength will guide you through anything. You have survived worse and persevered, so what you are going through now is a walk in the park.

Love yourself

Do you hate who you are right now? You do not have to settle on who you are today; your life is not scripted. You should change how you feel about yourself today and start molding yourself into the person that you want to be. The best place to start is by avoiding the things that hurt you.

Do not expect too much

Desire is a very powerful motivation tool, but if you want something too much, you might be disappointed in the end. To avoid this, you should live within your means and avoid coveting the unattainable. Just seek what you desire but keep your integrity.

Do not get insulted

The best way to handle critical comments and hateful remarks is by being dispassionate. People will always bump heads. Moreover, you need to consider the source of the hate and criticism; if it is the other person’s problem, you should ignore it. Learn to respond instead of reacting and never show your ire – this will only fuel the hate.

Accept that disappointment is a part of life

Even the most successful people have to deal with disappointment in life. However, these people have learned how to use disappointment to get to the next level in life. You need to learn how to process your feelings and take action to remedy the disappointment.
