Which Anti-Virus you are using ? - Page 5

Kaspersky is best. I think there is an offer going on compusa.com ( i checked yesterday ) where you are getting their Internet Security Suite for 19$ ( some 60$ mail in rebate ) . Worth it at 19$.. but then its my personal opinion.

I had few problems when i downloaded AVG. I had system crashing when i downloaded it as the virus entered through the download process. But am not quite sure when it happened only on downloading AVG or from any other system. Now i use NOD32 with which am very much safe.

I am using AVG Free Edition... Since september i use this and i didn't have any problem with viruses... If any problem is found there is a only way to solve it: FORMAT!

I like NOD32 for its ease, but i have to use kaspersky at the computer on my workplace. Frankly, I don't like kaspersky for its eating of a lot of memory

Its not possible descorpio. I am using AVG since more than one and half years without having any problem. From where are you trying to download it ?

Noron is goodone but only disadvantage is 'it slow down system process badly' in compare to other Anti-Virus.

McAfee Antivirus Professional Edition
Spybot - Search & Destroy
ZoneAlarm Firewall.

Installed and turned off.
I run them only on sundays while doing weekly maintenance of my comp.

ZoneAlarm and AVT both works great too. Give it a try.

I use Grisoft AVG Free. It is powerful, updatable, and most of all FREE!
