Question Is there any fixed time frame for getting echeck cleared in paypal account ?

Just got an echeck payment at one of my web directory but when i check it through details it says expected date of clearing is 9th December,07 why 10 days

I am getting echeck payment regularly but normally they clear in 4-5 days max so want to ask why there is no fixed time frame for getting it cleared ?

I think everything is being explained in terms and conditions. Normally Paypal takes 3-4 days to transfer funds or in an electronic funds transfer but last time it tool 12 days for me. I also don't know the reason but I have my money at the moment so I don't care about it anymore.

eCheck payments take three to four business days to clear.
