I'm still haviing problems.

Tell me what to quit doing, please.

I run Adaware and Reg Mechanic about twice a day--I'm all over the net. I keep my Internet Temp Files on Drive E. We have two routers and use the XP firewall. MY settings are as they should be. However, I do delete off line content often and clear pages once or twice a day.

Stat Counter seems to float between my stats, my stats3 and my stats 5.

I usually leave Stats counter open and access it hourly, because I'm at a point where I'm seriously interested in who is coming to the site.

Thanks for any advice you can offer.

My only problem is temp file cleaning is overrated in that people think it improves performance which is doesn’t - outside of scan and search times. Obviously it increases available disk space. I just think too many people think their system slows down due to temp file clutter, which is nonsense.

you should use different software for cleaning your temp files. Its correct that you temp files juggling slow down your system
