iGuides.org 1st Blogging Contest - December 2007

Hello Everybody,

It’s the time to get introduced with an another blast as Blogging Contest for the month of December 07’ This time we have organized contest for creative peoples in the field of writing and blogging.

You have to write on the suggested topic by us mentioned below. We will post your blog post to iGuides Blog. And Winner will be decided on the eve of New Year. There will be a total no. of 3 prizes. One member is allowed to make at least 1 Blog Post on the given topics.

Topics for the Blogging Contest

• Blog Marketing
• Blogging: Source of Earning
• Blogging Tactics- How to Keep it Fresh
• Empower Your Best Customers

Among these 5 topics you can choose any one topic of your own choice.

Prizes:

1st Winner: $100 USD
2nd Runner up: $50 USD
3rd Runner up: $ 25 USD

How to participate in this contest?

Simply reply to this thread by posting “I am in, and with Title and 3-5 lines of summary of your blog post”

For Example: “I am in

Blog Title: Bringing Out a Confident You

Summary: You can spot a confident person a mile away just by observing the way he walks – from his posture to the way he holds his head high to possibly that alluring smile on his lips. Confident people are attractive not only physically but more so by the way they carry themselves, how they talk to people, how they listen, and the gestures they use to emphasize a point or show acquiescence.”

It's compulsory to post in this thread so that we can update the PARTICIPANTS LIST and make your entry to iGuides Blog.

Winner will be decided on following criteria:

1. Best blog posts with unique, fresh and real content.

Rules:

1. Each member is allowed to make at least 1 blog post on the given topics.
2. No duplicate accounts, duplicate IPs, and duplicate content.
3. Minimum word limit for 1 blog post will be of 600 words.
4. E-mail your blog posts to me at angha at iguides.org, kindly make an assurance that you must email from a valid account so that I can keep in touch with you for further assistance if required.
5. You can nominate yourself to this contest from 6th of December, Thursday and all the blog posts must be received by Tuesday, December 25th at 2pm GMT.
6. Kindly make sure that your post should be a unique one, as each and every blog post will be checked through Copyscape and if we find any copied content, your article and you both will be disqualified from the contest.
7. All the post will be reviewed and approved by me and by our staff member Qurratulain. And winners will be finalized and declared by our Staff Members.
8. Blog posts must be a fresh and unique piece of work and should not be copied from already published or written posts, anywhere.
9. Participants are allowed to advertise their post according to their convenience like through PPC or through other Social Bookmarking, etc...
10. Kindly keep yourself away from any kind of spam, highly rich keywords etc, simply try to follow simple and crystal clear SEO techniques.
11. All the blog post which will be submitted by the Participants of this contest will be the property of iGuides.org. And you are not allowed to publish that particular blog post submitted by you to post any where even after the completion of the contest.

In a Nutshell

Starting Date: 6th December, 2007

Deadline: 25th December, 2007

Payment Method: All payment will be done through Paypal.

Admins and Staff at iGuides Forums will evaluate the results; we will choose and announce 3 lucky winners based on the above mentioned criteria.

I have not yet thought of any topic name right now.Will it be ok if I post it sometime later?

No at present you are allowed to write only 1 blog post on the given topics, if you are "IN" to the contest.

Rules are pre-defined, sorry cannot change terms there.

I am not sure what do you mean by new blog? For Blog Post you will have to send to our other Admin (above mentioned email address) and blog posts will be added on iGuides Blog itself.

Please read the rule # 11:

you will not be able to put on yr blog, those will be added on iGuides Blog
