So Live Mail and Hotmail are the same or not? I'm totally confused! I have an old hotmail account - I created it years ago! Now, I think they call it Live Mail.

Hey just the name has been changed. Everything else is the same. But i think more of security features would have been added to the newer version. But surely that will give a better experience .

Msn is not providing new hotmail accounts and the older Hotmail accounts are now used on the name of Live mail. However they are using hotmail servers for the purpose. The services are same.

The new one has 5GB storage, the design is more simple and fast now, they are competing with Gmail.

No doubt the design is nice but the service has slowed up a lot in the past month or so.

I have to agree that the design is nice, but I don't use Live Mail unless I have to, it's still a basic mail host for me.

hotmail is now live mail nothing change accept the name

Yes they are using same hotmail servers but just changed the name of the service. The looks are really great and fast also.

yes they give 5 gb but some time i could't use it. system said u have to open normal way.

that's why may be it's not compatible .it's better MSN normal.

Now they have a new theory as well . They are providing a Coolhotmail.com where you can have any domain name which they have like f1crazy.in , iamcrazy.com , and many more even though they are giving out same 5Gb space .
