They have given everything on their site, have a look Submitting a Site to the Open Directory and now after the launch of their blog DMOZ Blog you can keep in touch there as well, getting replies of your queries and related stuff.

Well I had a big argument with Motsa over at dmoz.

After the work we put into Linkspub, they just flatly refused.

I got comments like

'Your directory pages don't seem to user friendly (JimNoble)'

'Couldn't find any listings in a random category Home > Home & Gardening' (Budalatta)

I corrected their comments, but I think they had already decided that they don't want to list my site.

I also mentioned a few urls listed in dmoz which were under construction, well they removed those.

Recently at DP, I publicly announced to a so called editor that I would like dmoz not to list my linkspub or DJ in there.

I mean we've made it this far without them, and we'll continue to do so. I told that editor, if you got a quality site, u'll get traffic, simple as that and we see great traffic.

Heres the full transcript of my conversation with Motsa on their resource zone.

However, with their new launch of DMOZ Blog - they have explained everything.

I'm in the same boat... over the last couple of years I've submitted a few of my websites and they still haven't shown up. I have even submitted them a few different times months apart from one another
