Aviva Directory out of Google penalization

Good news directory owners.
Aviva Directory - has finally come out of Google which is good indication that Google is not particularly against directories- but sites which violates its TOS.
Hopefully, we can learn something from it.

In his reply to my congratulation to Jeff, he mentioned that he would be blogging about the steps he has taken to to get the penalty removed. He will do it next month to help all of us whose directories have been penalized. Isn't that great for him?

That would be great John if Jeff shares all the facts related to the lifting of penalizing from Google.. but these days directory owners are not going much into the trap of deindexing and getting penalized, but what is seen is the forcible drop in PR.

Aviva Directory no longer penalised by Google - Talk Directories - Directory Discussion Forums

I wrote a long article on this topic and included many reasons why the directory is back in the SERPs. It got picked up by quite a few forums and has had over 300 views in just a few days

Its really nice to be out of penalization. Jeff must be enjoying as I checked indexed pages of Aviva few hours back and it has shoot up from 28 pages to nearly 6000 pages
