Submitting to bidding web directory?

Paid web directory that also incorporate a bid for position system, mainly purposed to aim for better position.

Will you submit your sites to bidding web directory and why would you decide to do that? cos the general 'perception' is that google doesn't like bidding directories, personally i stay away from them cos they do provide 'instant' backlinks most of the times.

It provides quick and cheap backlinks, often with high PR. Simple.
