WIDGETBUCKS Scam..!!!!!

Greetings Everybody,

I've been using this program called WidgetBucks since mid-october and I had earned around $320 with it till date (included November too).

Now I get this "fancy" little e-mail from the WidgetBucks team saying that my account has been "suspended". Ooh la la, that did hurt - a loss of $320!

Want to know the reason? Ad-only Page, know what the heck that means?

I wrote a few articles about mobile phones and placed WidgetBucks ads on the pages and they call it "Ad-only bullsh*t" ?????

I say NEVER use them.

ALSO, I had seen a few days when my CPC dropped drastically, that's right $0.02 per click - Compare that to the mighty AdSense NOW!

Wouldn't you call these jokers a scam?

The e-mail I got from these maniacs is as follows :-

Subject - Suspended WidgetBucks Account - Ad-Only Page

This e-mail is to notify you that your WidgetBucks account has violated our terms of service and has been suspended.



Your site has violated the following provision of the WidgetBucks Terms and Conditions (http://www.widgetbucks.com/terms.page): Ad-only Page. Our policies state that you may not place widgets on pages that are published specifically for the purpose of showing ads. Placing WidgetBucks widgets on a page that is primarily showing ads is a violation of this policy.



Since you have violated these terms, your account has been suspended. Earned commissions, bonuses, and fees shall be forfeited as a result of your violation of our terms.

No one can find out with whom the problem really is.Even you.Widgetbucks maybe right.......Or you may be right..... Both are possible.

The reason for deleting accounts may or may not be genuine.Thats secondary.

But what I say is the Ad companies should not use this leverage against us in a bad way by deleting high earning accounts......

Sorry. But my friends already get paid from widgetbucks and right now. They already start paying they member..

Infact G Adsense banned publishers too but for genuine reason IMO. I think i have to wait more for using Widgetbucks

I signed up for Widgetbucks early November.... the click numbers looked pretty good for a while, then I got an account suspension email... I complained, and asked why ? .... I was told it was a mistake, but when my account was reinstated, I found out that most of my impressioms and clicks had been wiped out. I re-installed my WB ads on some of my sites, but I have no idea how they are performing, because their reporting is delayed.


Bottom Line.... I have found a lawyer ( a friend ) who is willing to start a class action suit against Empire. If you are interested, either PM me, or contact me at cgwebservices@gmail.com

I'm a new member but had heard nothing to date regarding these issues. This is truly sad to hear already seeing widgetbucks is so new.

That's very bad. I shall be careful about it. Why they thought about it after so many months? I think you were going to grab the money more than they were expecting. On the other hand you should look it into deep not to tolerate it again with someone else.

The bad thing i think for international member is we not earn well from widgetbucks anymore. The cpc is not worth and its hard for cpm. I don't think i can earn again my 2nd payment with WB..

Thanks for all this information! from this topic I have decided to remove Widgetbuck and I will not be promoting their services and or ads no more. I just don't want to take the chance!

You can do that if you want. I just keep it and hope its worth. I know its hard for us like my country to earn from WB. But i hope i can earn well with them for my next payment.

I don't know, I just can't go well with other companies, even though, I have never had any bad experience with WB, I just don't like it, Adsense has been the best in terms of good pay and everything.

Yap. Adsense is th best and i agree with that. I also already try my best to earn from adsense. But i also fine with WB. Just try my best only.

I find selling your ad space to other people or websites works great too. and it generate more income the Google would ever make you!
