Has anyone ever had some luck?

I tried to use Adwords with google and I had nothing but trouble. It seems like I spent more money than I made. I know of a couple out there that are the same but have yet to regain any confidence in pay-per-click advertising.

I think you should keep on advertising via Google Adwords. You will loose some money first. You should keep on advertise for few months and then once you have a good traffic coming on, you could get revenue from Google adsense. ( The revenue will be permanent but advertising on Google adwords won't be permanent ). So, I think you will have to do some investment for this buddy.

I had a successful campaign few months back. But, lately it has become pretty bad for me so I stopped.

If you join adword. Its more better you try for 1 day first. I believe you will only losing your money if you not focus and survey first about adword. Its not easy to earn from adword like you think..
