Actually, 2082 and 2083 both are general ports of computer. But, when you installs
cPanel in your server, then
cPanel itself configures the port
2082 for normal data transfer for their hosting solution and
2083 for secure data transfer.
So, if you login to a domain which uses cPanel, then you have to use
https instead of
http, if you want to use
2083 port.
Example:
http://domain.com:2082/
https://domain.com:2083/
