I like PHP because it's dynamic, server side, has a large function library, portability and obviously because it's free. We can even use php for designing. Although PHP is a pretty young language (compared with Perl for example), it’s mature enough to be used in any production environment, no matter which are the requests

I just started to learn how to program in C# and like it. sorry to go off subject but as i am really really trying to break away from windows, can anyone point me in the direction of decent directions on how to use mono in FC9 that are actually worth the time it takes to read them. i dont know how many ive been through so far but nothing seems to work. i know its built into FC9 but when i try to access it in /etc/bin, it doesnt do anything. i dont know if i need to compile it in FC9 or what, if so, please point me in the direction of instructions to do so. my C# is being done on .NET which is the only thing left holding me to XP, and i would really love to go full out FC9, as everything else i need/want to do, ive found ways to do in linux.
