dreamweaver is great, though maybe not the best, you can try it, for me it works just fine, better than others, and you can do just about everything you like

Best way is to install Apache, MySQL and PHP server. Easyserv or xampp can do it. And then do php programming by notepad ++. It's good editor. I worked on php sites like this. It's fast way to test codes and check the result.

hmm... I am using easyeclipse to code php at work. But at home i use dreamweaver. But i recommend you to start using eclipse, because there is a lot of thing you can plug-in and work....

Code editors are a matter of personal taste. Some of the PHP experts still use Notepad.

actually i think its depend on person . if he expert then he has no problem . but for the newbiwe has a problem. there is a software , easy webpage maker. its easy for beginer and those who have no knowledge about webpage designing, by using it he can make a webpage very easily. and its will best for him cause this software doesnt required a knowledge. its very simple to operate

hmm ,well dreamweaver is great, specially for php , i think it really helps out php developers, but its all about your own skilss , who knows, im not that much into php , but for my view, it is one of the best

thankyou all of you, i just started working on dreamveawer by your help and it is great i never knew about it before n i never used any php software before it , this is my first software which i used to edit php my site sticksurf.info-> i use free template but dreamwweaver really help me in some problems.
