Marketing with Facebook!

So I started a small and I mean small campaign with facebook yesterday. What I did was I purchased 7500 flyer's that are to be distributed on facebook into users profiles over the next 3 days. The price was 5 USD for every 2500 flyer's.

I have godaddy stats running live but it will still be hard to judge what the results were as I heavily rely on facebook right now to market anyways. I guess I will look for Unique visitors seeing this will be a good way to estimate what the flyer's produced.

What do you think and have you tried it before?

Didn't see the ad till yet, probably because I'm not one of the targeted audience (not in the age group you mentioned). Well, marketing on facebook is good idea, and hope it'll really work for you, but what I felt, it's not good for marketing of all sorts of products.

Marketing in Facebook is really nice idea, I have signed up there few days ago, and have created new group named as iGuides, will take initiative from our own community, let's see how it goes.

Here are six steps to market on facebook.

(1) Create a profile

(2) Host an event and post it

(3) Share a funny video or picture

(4) Post pictures

(5) Post news articles

(6) Write a note


The video, pictures and events should all be about the product you are selling, make sure to have niche related friends

Also make sure you set all your privacy setting if you don't want your website users, (not current friends) to see your profile.

DP is on top and it is free! - signature marketing has become my favourite way of advertising, gives you both organic result and natural traffic.
