One must find a suitable site or blog to advertise his own site or blog. He/she must place the affiliate links so that they could get more traffic. By placing banners there they can also earn through the number of clicks. This is one way to promote the product and also earning.

Networking with other bloggers is always good, if you make friends with them, they might blog about you from time to time , and of course reciprocating it will keep them happy.

Well if one is looking for quality traffic then real quality backlinks and banners on good sites is best effective way. Second way is to use advertisers like adsense, adbrite for your site's advertisement. However this process is good for traffic. But only quality of content on your website determines whether the visitors are comming back to your website or not.

This method will prove good if mutual concern is there. Also this can be expanded to an extent by placing them in an revenue sharing forums. This might be of little use.
