Good article!

Though having a bloggy mind, I myself will prefer an article directory attached to my site if site is a big concern. Some reasons that I may hold for this are:
  • Article directory as it supports free exposure to many of the top quality writers will bring content that SEs are looking for.
  • Having many writers, daily food for SEs is not a problem at all.
  • Article directory, being a general concern embeds almost all niche in it making it a powerful resource.

Having these benefits out of an article directory will bound me to have a careful look at:
  • Review of articles submitted by writers
  • Quality Check

On the other hand, I'll go for a blog if I intend to be a bit classy in the field, and the course of action is limited to one, two or three interrelated niche. Blogging myself will be the best option, but in case of extensive work, a fair better approach will be to hire some bloggers and let them publish their write ups with their own name, i.e. a kind a professional blog being run by more than one person.

Well, it is important also to stick with the higher quality article submission websites, like sumbitting articles to ezines can boost traffic to your site and increase backlinks.

And most important, article submittion is low cost and sometimes free. Also, make sure the article is in 350 words to 700 words in length, it tends to grap people's attention, make sure its not too long.
