Default Which marketing method do you use?

Different webmaster used different technique to promote their site. My technique would be:

1 - Search Engine submission
2 - Signature in forum
3 - Make comment on blogs

What method do you use?

Right now I'm trying to create my own network, 100% controlled by me and on each site I promote my own websites. I also use forums signatures, blogs, directory sites, and whatever else I can find.!

Honestly the best traffic comes from long days in front of your pc and that's about it

Man they are really long days!

4- Submitting in other Free/Paid reputed and well established directories
5- Buying/Exchanging banner ads on other high traffic and relevant sites
6- Promoting your site/business in the network of your own sites (if got network of sites)
7- Adding quality and original relevant articles/news in your site and then submitting in other social networking sites/article directories

We need to abide to all sectors for promotion to make it on TOP.. anything missed will make the site downwards as i think.. but reputation building is most important and then the impression of the site and the quality of content... then it automatically promotes itself

Nothing promotes itself it all reality. You could have the best content on the net but without the proper Marketing Strategies your business will be a failure. Maybe when you become as big as Digital Point you can say this! Another way you can say this and be successful is by having the consumers "need" Find a need and fill it theory. Another great quote to off set this would be, If you build it, they will come, isn't always true.

Food for thought,

bbrian017

You got that right, bbrian017!! I use anything I can, including free give aways, with small notes, with my sites information on them, to word of mouth, and to be honest, I don't care how many times I say, write, or think, that is your reputation, and if your word of mouth is good, then people will remember you, and pass it along.. therefore increasing your traffic, rank, sales, and best of all remember why they chose your site/network.. long days, and long nights!!

Nothing promotes itself indeed. Even when you grew up and the traffic quantity exceeds all your expectations, it's still in demand to keep promotion your resource.
