Hi all,

I've had this domain for a few months now.

Businesses.com.tw

I want to make a portal where the world can find businesses in Taiwan & China which conduct trade internationally.

Any comments on the idea?

Yes, No, Maybe.

Projects like these take months & months of programming and there's no guarantee that it's gonna fly.

I would like to serve a clientelle who is financially able and willing to pay.

Maybe I'll start it as flat files and build the modules as needed.

Serious feedback & feedback from Business Majors highly appreciated.

If you have such a high budget for content, development and marketing of your forum, IMO it should be a big hit as idea is excellent. If you have a look Alibaba Manufacturer Directory - Suppliers, Manufacturers, Exporters & Importers I have been in touch with AliBaba for the last 5+ years, when I was doing Job in a Manufacturing Company, I had to visit AliBaba on daily basis, finding products from Asian Market, as most of products from China or Taiwan are available at low rates with compare to International Market.

Before you go for that idea and willing to implement it, you need to do more and more research. Google is your friend businesses in Taiwan - Google Search

Actually the two sites which I got the idea from are alibaba and manufacturers.com.tw

Actually writing the program is the hefty part. Ali baba started out with 19 programmers and I'm only 1.

I'm gonna start out with flat files and let it build slowly I guess.

The domain certified as premium and got 444 points, so it'll get a lot of traffic from the search engines under the businesses & businesses in taiwan searches.

I guess only time will tell how things turn out.

I'm planning to have a flat files out within the next 7 days.

I have been in touch with AliBaba for the last 5+ years, when I was doing Job in a Manufacturing Company, I had to visit AliBaba on daily basis, finding products from Asian Market, as most of products from China or Taiwan are available at low rates with compare to International Market.

Iguides, if u used alibaba for 5 years, u probably know all the ins and outs.

I'm gonna ask you for your advice and suggestions on this from time to time.

I wanna make this thing as useful as i can for the people using it.
