Yes adsense does works good for generating revenue.... infact its the major source of income for many webmasters.. well atleast for me,...

No adsense doesn't work for me atleast.
I have earned around total of $150 in 15 months

(though i consider myself an adsense expert

)
I heard Jimkarter makes a lot - in Crores/year.. Sounds true ?

Good way to earn money thorugh net is remain active at few forums and try to post quality posts there and after good amount of posts you can sell your siggy space as well as blog post feed url spot for monthly income

(Consider as side income).

BTW IMO make one quality directory and promote it through various sources like buying signature at various forums,submitting it to other quality directories (free and paid both) as regular or featured listings,sponsor various wp and other templates etc.

Though i am not a big webmaster but i think above works definately.

Yes, Selling signature/avatar/blogfeed url/location space etc are good ways to make money online..
They are also the cheap and effective ways for ab advertiser to build buzz for their sites.

Directories now are not earning good unless you make a top quality directory like iguides and dirjournal.

Quality Directories are never fail. BTW Google always playing game with webmasters so take a lession and move forward as usual
