URLs are not SEF (search engines friendly) you need to update permalink there in order to make URLs search engines friendly.

2- Right hand side, if you use Grey background color for Google Adsense instead of white, it will match the layout.

Rest of blog is looking good, it has potential to grow

Yes i meant that, and of course it will effect on back links as well as new URL structure will take time to be indexed on search engines again. But that is most effective and sturdy way.

Changing the url structure will affect my hard built backlinks for pages and posts..

I do SEO for each and every post like Meta title, description, keywords.. So i think that will be enough.

Yes that will definitely effect, if you can afford with that loss then go ahead changing URLs structure, otherwise let it go as it is.
