Business Forum - An online biz and finance community world wide

I like the clean feel of it, but the header area is a bit plain. Try using a navy gradient background for your header area so it stands out a bit more.

Looks good, I like the colors, but you have too much going on in the top bar (where the logo is) IMO...

Why is your Header within Brackets?Looks a bit awkward.Try to get a decent header done for a few bucks

Well,

If you compare businessforum.net to ukbusinessforums.com, it doesn't stand up.

Design isn't really a big issue. I mean ur design is fine, a little spicing up won't hurt.

I'm pretty sure u come up on searches for business forum on all the search engines, so u've got an advantage of the domain there.

Now here are the problems.

1) Who are your visitors? Or being specific. Who are you trying to attract. You've got a free market place, do u need that? What kind of visitors do u think something like that gets, 'people who want to promote or sell their stuff for free'. 1000s of marketplaces like that around.

Sig links alone is enough free promotion if u allow it.

What you need to focus on is professionalism. A lot of planning, making the site useful for the people visiting it.

2) Try to create your forum in a way, that members actually contribute to it as opposed to trying to promote their own sites on it.

3) Better language for the descriptions would help.

eg

IMO

Starting a Business looks more professional then 'Starting your business'

also
'Business startup section to discuss all issues related to how to start up your business, capital raising, venture capital. A place to benefit from other members' experiences.'

has grammar errors in it.

could be something like

'Discussion and ideas on starting, funding, establishing and branding.'

Overall try to keep more of a professional rather then a spammy environment. Quality is always better then quantity.

I'll be joining ur forum soon myself.

take care

I cannot see old design with green and blue soothing colors. May be owner of that forum has switched back to default skin.

@adnan

Nice review, I am member there already, it's been nice forum, but sometime lack of activity is seen there.

This great forum. But your traffic is few..I see only 1 active member there.. You need to make some advertisement for this forum.. Buy some banner space on related business blog or website..
