I just changed my template 1-2 days ago and need help and advice regarding the template. It will be nice if you can comment on adplacement, the template and the overall layout.

I want to tell you something about the AdSense ads.
First you should use the same background as the background of the page also for the border of the ads use the background of the page and put the AdSense ad into a div with padding, something like this:

Nice design, simple and neat. The site will be great once filled in with the content. But why do you have two menus to the right? And ads from google hide partially the text of the article.

A very simple design blog. Overall is good expect the ads. I suggest you change the ads to 300 x 250 instead of 486 * 60.
