Please help me how to get back links from google

I have been working to get atleast page rank of 1. But what to do? I made link exchanged with some blogs, and some one way links too. But I cannot find any back links for my blog. I am having around 4000 back links in yahoo.

But there are no signs of increase in my page rank. Even I am not getting any backlinks in google for my blog. Can I know what is the reason?

Google recently updated PR and still the backlinks have not been updated... Wait for it

and btw.. it is not backlinks from google it is backlinks in google

The content on your website like the keywords in your URL to the title, description tags and the first sentence for each page should be well organized.

have an optimum amount of keywords in the head and title and do not repeat your keywords.

A good idea is to put a few buttons on each of your pages to the top social bookmarking services, so other visitors can bookmark your page.

How old your site is? Google updated it's PR 2 days ago, if your site is old enough to get PR value (launched at least 2 or 3 months ago before the PR update) then it must have gotten some PR value if you did link exchange with relevant sites and on high PR sites. Any chance we can have the URL of your site?

For back links, Google updates it's back link on all data centers after a while (1 month or 1.5 months) you need to keep in touch in Google section on forums in order to know if back link update has started too.

Also follow the guide lines provided by ZafarAhmed as it will help your site to get optimized for better results and indexing on Search Engines. Getting back links from social networking sites can help in improving your site's PR value as well as to improve your ranking on search engines.

why r u excited to get a page rank value ??if you recently started getting backlinks to ur site then it will take time to index by google moreover its ur visitors to the site wat counts the most ...forget about the pr as pr has not much of a value now ..just concentrate on building more and more traffic to your site

you know dolon making backlinks is not gonna make result for you if you are using links to your website from low ranked websites

remember that a link to your website is considered as a vote by google (at least) so if it come from a wealthy website it brings you up or if it come from a low ranked website it brings you down

I see. So can anyone give an approximate end date? Or atleast end month? Because all this waiting is making me tensed....

Another one if you put your site and promote at signiture space at many forum and exchange link with other site which one have high PR..
