Default Problem with online income taxes

I live in US and want to inquire that how people that have online businesses handle their income taxes how can we keep the track of our incomes and resources and do people have incomes that they don't report ?
Is there an amount where you don't have to produce a repost if you make less money.I can't imagine Google sending out a 1099 forms for someone that made $0.50...
I am planning to start a online business so need to inquire everything before starting something.
