Social security fraud is a widesrpead problem. I used to go to the county jail around here and the State Prison and talk with inmates about future plans upon release and at least 50% of the inmates planned on getting on mental disability SSI because they only had to find a psychologist who would diagnosis them as crazy by saying " I hear voices and think I want to hurt myself" then they apply for SSI an recieve a nice fat retro active check worth 2 to 4 thousand dollars and 8 to 9 hundred dollars in drug money every month from a program they have never paid into. People try to blame baby bloomers of the 50's for the strain on the SSI system when it is actually able bodied malcontents who don't want to work.
