Default yahoo ads

Once i heard from my friend who is a webmaster saying that yahoo does not accept your account if the maximum traffic is not from USA. Is that true? I want to know and clarify this. How can it be possible. What is wrong if the traffic is not maximum from USA?

Why is it US only? I mean... US people are just people, not different to anyone else. I think its because like in China or something theres lots of IP theft.

Yes. As publisher, they only allow US member only. Not to all countries. So, nothing i can do about that and just hope their will open the chance to us in future. I agree when you said about China.. Too many of them..

Well YPN( Yahoo publisher network) is not approoving all the applications and limited to US and related region market. But it is specified in thier e-mail that in future they will accept and approove other countries accounts also. Till then Google and Adbrite is ok.

Two things here. First filter that YPN has is that they only allow the people to register who are based in the US.

Secondly, they only allow people in the US whose websites have a decent amount of US traffic. This is because Yahoo has opened their program only for US publishers and advertisers and therefore US traffic is must for businesses based in the US publicizing their websites through YPN
