Sudden fall in yahoo rankings

Few days back there has been sudden fall in the ranking of my finance website.Pages have fallen from 27th to 123rd.
I have been frequently putting up links for different keywords in site as comments to gain some inward links.The pages now have 196 odd inward links .Can this make some impact on my site on later stages.
Please help me out.

First of all was you getting consistent traffic staying on that 27th position? If yes how many hits from there?

Can you mention the URL of your site? May be you have to pay more attention on Link Buying/Exchanging on/with other finance related sites.
