Since its release, there have been a lot of people talking about the Apple MacBook Pro 2008 Edition. Does it have any new features that are sure to impress? How is the reliability? Is it better than a Windows based machine? These are all questions that have been asked time after time in the media, at electronic stores, and on online message boards. Of course, there are varying opinions about what the Apple MacBook Pro 2008 has to offer.
Starting with what people like the most, the new Apple MacBook Pro offers a longer lasting battery. This was a major problem for many in the past, and it appears that Apple has pretty much corrected this problem. For business users in particular, this was a major issue.
Moving on, the Apple MacBook Pro has taken a cue from the MacBook Air and now offers touchpad gestures. Is this really that big of a deal? While this is not a “make or break” feature, it is one that users have come to love in the MacBook Air. Generally speaking, this is a comfort and convenience feature that will go a long way in making the Apple MacBook Pro more desirable.
The main beef with the Apple MacBook Pro is that it does not offer much more than the smaller 13 inch MacBook, but the price is considerably higher. With an approximate price tag of $2,800, consumers want to make sure that they are getting a high level of features. It is up to each buyer to decide if the Apple MacBook Pro 2008 Edition is worth the extra money. To go along with this, tech savvy buyers are still complaining about the lack of an SD card reader.
The Apple MacBook Pro 2008 Edition is a quality machine that is solid as a rock. With that being said, many buyers are unsure if upgrading to this machine is worth the money. Reviews are pretty good across the board, but before buying, consumers should compare this machine with the others in the Apple MacBook line.

TO be frank, i was not a big fan of Apple products, but when I had the chance to use this Apple Macbook Pro, i was more than impressed with its features and easy to use options. The sleek keyboard and better monitor has made me to think about buying this Apple MacBook Pro soon when I dump my existing IBM notebook, as i found it to be too squeky these day!

This notebook is not offering much at the price which as been quoted. In short it isn’t value for money.
Maybe the classes may buy it but it is a downer for the masses.
Personally I wouldn’t go for it even though it offer a better battery life.
