General Motors brings developed plug-in technology in its Chevrolet Volt

According to General Motors high claims, its gun like run Chevrolet Volt will get ready for production by 2010. If this vehicle is produced on time, in noteworthy numbers and succeeds to work reliably well, the Volt will serve as a milestone in motor technology.

God forefend! If it doesn’t do well, General Motors may be accused of “Spoiling the electric car” once more.

GM‘s Volt is not a hybrid as it runs totally on electricity. But dissimilar to other ECs it will not die if the battery gets low prior to charge as there is a small on-board gasoline engine that works as a generator to supply power to the battery and keep the vehicle running.

The Volt would cover almost 40 miles before such a need of and most drivers could run it the whole day long without using an iota of gas.

The below is just a concept version and you must not expect that the Volt just looks like that. There is a sharper-edged tail and more rounded front for the final Volt.
