Android G1 is due in next two weeks

T-Mobile’s G1 that will first show off much awaited Android OS will be available in the UK in next two weeks (most probably from 30 October).

Only in UK, there are more than 25,000 per-orders for the G1 and some analysts predicts that that demand for the handset will exceed a lot in other parts of the world as well.

According to some estimates, more than 600,000 T-Mobile G1 handsets that have been manufactured by HTC will be sold till the end of this year and it will outshine the level of demands for the first Apple iPhone.

Next Generation iPhone

Apple had made a plan to introduce a software kit that will allow cellular phone users to create legitimate applications for their iPhones. This newly developed software can make the iPhone more appealing to a lot of people, particularly the cell phone fanatics. With this new software kit from Apple, legitimate add-ons can be downloaded to the iPhone.

Currently in the cell phone market, Apple’s iPhone has everything that a person could ever want in a mobile phone. It features software that can easily be learned, sleek design and intuitive interface. It has state-of-the art features that make it a desirable gadget for any cell phone savvy.

However, new software kit developed by cell phone geeks had hacked the iPhone image. Add-ons that allow instant access to Blockbuster Online DVD Queue and pocket guitar that maximizes the use of the iPhone’s touch screen features had been crafted. Another possible feature of this software is that people will have the access to unlock the iPhone from AT&T to make it work on other cell phone networks. These hacks had been developed without Apple’s technical assistance and provisions.

Google Launches New iPhone and iPod Interface with Picasa and New Toolbar for Internet Explorer

It was a Google’s week this time .Consecutive announcements were catching people’s attention the whole week. Furthering its efforts, Google this week launched an innovative iPhone interface for the company’s specific and dedicated Picasa photo service.

IPhone and iPod Touch users who quite often reach to the Picasa Web site via the Apple gadgets’ Safari Web browser are now automatically switched to this new iPod dedicated interface .

Once the user has logged in, he can see their photo albums very comfortably and he can easily drill down to get a full composite view of all the pictures, claims Google. It further claims that the Picasa’s slideshow feature has also been specially optimized for the devices like iPod and iPhone.
