iGuides Logo Design Contest.

iGuides.org would like to give our members the opportunity to put their creativity and come up with the logo design that we will be using to brand “Elegant Directory”

Starting now, till Decemver 29th , 2007 all web designers, graphic artists, and artistically creative people are being called upon on iGuides to design a logo for “Elegant Directory”


Logo Requirements


Elegant Directory is a directory of family-friendly and spam-free websites organized by subject. Offering paid and sponsored listings.


Here is new design of elegant directory which is in process ""New Design" for Elegant Directory and here is old design "Old Design"

The logo should match the website theme, the color should be same as on the new theme.

Submission Deadline:

Saturday December 29th 2007 at 11.59pm


Submission Format:

Each submission should contain the following:

1. Submitter's full name and email address anywhere in the post or Logo

2. Description of the design/concept.


General Competition Rules:

1. You will retain all rights, title and interest in and to your entry, including any and all copyright.

2. We are looking forward to receiving many varied designs that we can choose from.

3. By submitting a logo for entry in the competition, the designer acknowledges that he/she is the person that made the logo and is its rightful owner.


Judging Criteria:

5. How well the logo would work across online and other purposes.
6. How well the logo works as a symbol

Judging will be based on our decisions.


Prize:
Winner: $100

Logo#1 from draft 1 and logo#2 from draft2 are my favorites - they have nice concepts.

We appreciate your efforts and looking forward to see some elegant logo designs from you too, btw iGuides has already presented very nice and easy to understand "How to Design Logo" tutorial, please have a look How to Design a Logo I strongly hope it will help you lot while designing something new and different.
